1. Work out? Most of us could stand to exercise a little more. An hour a day would go a tremendous way toward losing weight or getting fit. Definitely a good option.
2. Read? That pile of books on the bedside table appears to be breeding. Reading is a great way to expand your horizons and learn about an infinite number of things. Sounds fulfilling.
3. Learn a new language? Have you forgotten your Spanish lessons from high school? With an extra hour a day, it definitely wouldn't take long to learn a new language, and the possibilities are endless. Intriguing!
4. Start a hobby? What have you always wanted to do, but have never tried? Woodworking? Learn how to knit? Breed reptiles? Try your hand at organic gardening? A great option for people with busy hands.
5. Organize? So this might not be so fun, but for you pack rats out there, with an hour a day, your living area could be ship-shape in no time. Start with one area per day and go until you're done. Then start all over. To each their own!
6. Social networking? Sites like Facebook and MySpace are incredible places to meet up with old friends and find new ones. It's astounding how fast friends and acquaintances come out of the woodwork once you create an account. Reconnecting is a fabulous idea!
7. Make money online? This might not be a great idea for everyone, but if you have the time and energy, why not give it a try? Just type "bum marketing" into your search box and get some great ideas. A little extra cash never hurts!
There are an infinite number of ways to spend your time. Having one extra hour in the day to do with as you wish is a gift to yourself. Consider studying your sleep patterns and seeing if there's something more to life than sleeping. Because if you can find that extra hour, there's no telling what you can accomplish.
